A BIT OF FASHION HISTORY

This time I bring you a bit of history, because I am really passionate to see that thanks to the digital generation, we have at hand a newspaper library to pull archive in relation to what we want and when we want.

Fashion has an exciting history and these #perfectguests of today, also were in each of the stages that they had to live, only today we are lucky to be able to put "hashtag" to everything.

I am very struck by the new brides, the diversity we have in terms of designs and trends.

Each designer, in each of our collections, we try to capture what moves us each season, what inspires us and what we feel like, without being guided by trends, but rather by instinct. Unwittingly we are filling the pages of what will one day be the history of our time, the one we are living today.

But today I will make a small summary of wonderful times and changes we have gone through, because a picture is worth a thousand words.

Already in Roman times, white was used to dress in the most important celebrations, those languid and drooping peplums were trendy, in the Middle Ages, brides were married in red dresses with golden brass applications, and in the Renaissance the embroidery of precious stones and pearls stood out.

White, as a color of purity and virginity, became popular with the arrival of Queen Victoria, and from the 16th century onwards it was consolidated as a tradition and symbol of chastity.

In the 19th century, women in Spain still married in black, and it was not until the 20th century that light tones were used for marriage, in this case white as a symbol of the highest sacrament.

It was in the '90s when the waters returned to their course and Lady Di, a true diva of those years and faithful to the "elegance code" rescued and imposed the trend of puffed and pompous sleeves, classic cuts and "simplicity" lines. "and imposed the trend of puffed and pompous sleeves, classic cuts and "simplicity" lines.

And it is now when we dare to break with everything, even the most faithful to the traditional, giving brides touches in pastel tones, complementing dresses with flower tiaras, structures and vintage tiaras to turn them into the most retro, the most romantic and daring at the same time.

Really now anything goes, the XXI century is giving fashion the opportunity to generate its own style, with small standards subject to a criterion that identifies who we are.

Now everything is much easier, much more visual, so we have at our fingertips to create a 100% personalized look. That's why in @mibuh we made a collection where we summarize the history of bridal fashion.

Working directly advising and customizing the look of each bride in those special days, for us is something very special. We love to make women shine in general, but on their wedding day even more, so we want to thank all our brides for the trust they have placed in us.

We invite you to enjoy this beautiful collection.
