To achieve this, the learning pace of the group must pass some common standards that are determined by the knowledge or characteristics of the participants.
In addition to differentiating the style and morphological qualities of this type of fabrics, in this monographic you will learn to differentiate which types of lasts can be added and which are not recommended.
The characteristics of the design will also be specified, as well as the gluing process, the different fabrics and textures.
In any case, everything you will learn in this course will be specific to the design of headdresses and in no case basic sewing knowledge is required.
When working on the lining of such a delicate piece as a hat or headdress, it is essential to differentiate the characteristics of each fabric. Thus, a spring hat is not the same as a winter hat. In the same way, the type of lining decides in a certain way the type of fabric that has to be used for the piece in question.
It is also essential to work with the different types of yarn bindings, in order to know how to distinguish which type of fabric is suitable for each of them. In this course you will acquire the knowledge to deal with wood standard bindings, as well as wire and bridle bindings.
