Sinamay Silk online course
The silk course is exciting, here you will be able to develop all your creativity in a very artistic way, it is a very special fabric that acquires unique shapes, very architectural, but also allows us to line, bind and much more that you can understand and develop once you finish all the lessons of this course.
We will make three different projects, a headband with a knot, a lined turban and a spectacular headdress with two different fabrics to know how to integrate them both to the final project.
In addition, it has a special natural, cold and hot dyes to give a different texture to your designs, because silk can also be dyed and painted.
So far it is the most complete silk course, a course taught by María Jesús Losater, who more than ten years ago stood out among hat designers for working with one of the most unknown materials so far, this differentiated our designer and marked a before and after in her career.

The course is divided into 8 topics, in which we will address the basics of designing with this material: sinamay silk. Kit of essential materials for the course
With our course you will receive a kit that will help you to shape your first design. In it you will find: a box, a sinamay cap, a satin headband, a metal headband, a bottle of fabric stiffener, two flower knobs, two meters of silk sinamay and a display head.
For this course it is not necessary to buy the materials if you have them at home.
Once you have downloaded the course you can do it whenever you want.
As it is mainly an online course you can download it and watch it whenever you want. It is not necessary to attend classes, but you structure the schedule yourself. In addition, you have the possibility to watch it again whenever you need to. A concept is not very clear to you? Go back and repeat the lesson.
At the end of the course you will receive a certificate
Upon completion of the training you will receive a diploma that certifies it with your name on it. This way you will be able to use it to increase your professional value. In addition to having put into practice everything you have learned.
